Ballhop
The ballhop is the core to most movement, and can be used to achieve angles otherwise inaccessible or too lengthy to reach. A common use is to hop above Otto's  Energy Wall to score a goal.
The way to execute a Ballhop is to position the ball under yourself, jump, and then toss the ball while slightly clipped inside of it or slightly above it. This will send both yourself and the ball into the air. Be wary of opponents who have the opportunity to shoot the ball out from under you, though due to the Long Shot's projectile speed this is rather difficult to do. |
